the pic Ive chosen is one of my own. I drew this picture for my boyfriend. I know it looks just like a silly comic book drawing, but it has a meaning to it. Although you cant see the whole thing but the background has cars flying and tires, hence the chaos, and the delicacy of the flower in the front. Which brings my to the title "Through Chaos Comes Love"

I can relate to this blog. I was once from a family that was dominated by females. Now bratty little boys are overthrowing us. Weekly dinners that were once consumed with discussions involving periods, sex, and unfaithful men are now surrounded with talks of Spiderman, baseball, and video games. It is common for someone who comes from a Hispanic family to mention their “Nana”. She is the star of the family tree, the oracle if you will. She is the person who you run to if you ever are in a sticky situation. My “Where I am from” blog surrounds my Nana as well. I enjoyed reading all of your blogs but I really understood where you were coming from on this particular blog. I also enjoyed the description. The train whistle at 2 in the morning is a memory that will forever be embedded in my mind. The sound wakes you from a sound sleep but simultaneously, it brings a sort of strange comfort. It reminds me that I am home.
